I just noticed that the featured blogs on the directory pages are paid placements. Kind of a a great little feature.

One dude seems to have bought space on several different topics, he should chill out (refresh a few times on each, you should see a pattern).

Although, I have a feeling their not all paid spots. Fred Wilson has one of the featured in “Entrepreneurs,” which while perfect placement topic-wise, would probably not have been a valuable ad buy for him.

I’m shaving my head for money tomorrow. Once I have all of your money, I’m going to give that money to kids with cancer. It’s some sort of charity thing called “St. Baldrick’s.”

Feel free to donate, and by “feel free to donate,” I mean “click here and donate lest I make the lord unleash another storm to ruin all of your apartments, again.”

Do you like me, hate cancer, or both? Pay money to a bunch of little kids and I'll shave my head: bit.ly/bSBS0F

They have this charity event called “St. Baldrick’s.” It’s an event where a bunch of people collect money for kids with cancer and then shave their heads in solidarity with those kids.

Do you like me? Or do you dislike cancer? Or do you just want to support me getting a haircut? Please donate money.

Would you like to really donate money? I’ll shave it off for the right price. What’s the right price?

The reason people blindly follow pitchfork? They're so often so right. The new Titus Andronicus is amazing: bit.ly/aHcGGf

I just got my first sales information from selling my album a few months ago. I sold 32 songs and 56 songs were streamed by the end of the first month (I’m not sure how many days that includes).

I made $22.96.

I consider it a smashing success.

If you’re interested, it’s available in most digital stores. Including iTunes and Lala.

I’ve posted about this before, but it’s still strange. So I’m posting it again.

All of these users, clearly fake, are following me, the staff blog, and nothing else. They have no posts or anything like that.

Anybody else getting this?

Custom order, yo!

How awesome is this color combo going to be on a toddler (with a huge head)?!

The lady started knitting using t-shirts a while ago. Now she’s accepting shirts in the mail, making things out of them, and sending them back. Etsy is cool.

Wow, I'm really missing out at SXSW... an actual tweet I just got: "I'm at P.F. Chang's w/ 19 others." #whoisatchevys?

6 stages of debugging: 1) can't happen 2) doesn't repro 3) shouldn't happen 4) why is that happening? 5) I see! 6) How did that ever work?

Coming Soon

These days, when I see a list of features that are coming soon, I see a list of features that don't exist yet.

So instead of "look at all this awesome stuff that's coming," I see, "look at all this awesome stuff you can't do."

(Same applies for my projects).
