Ads on Hulu
Accoring to Silicon Alley Insider, when given the option for a single two minute commercial or four 30 second spots, Hulu claims people prefer the two minute ads. That seems a bit obvious to me, it’s ncie to get the ads over with and just watch the show.
However, spread out or lumped together, nobody seems to mind the ads on Hulu very much. I think it’s for two reasons:
- Hulu is a great service.
- They tell you how much time is left on each commercial break. That makes us feel in control somehow. No more Proactiv ads that feel like they’re about to end for five minutes.
